Midwife is the ambient dream pop project of songwriter Madeline Johnston. She conjures aching feelings through ocean-sized washes of reverb that douse her voice, like someone singing over the telephone as waves crash in the background. With collaborator Vyva Melinkolya, Johnston released the acclaimed LP ‘Orbweaving’ earlier this year via The Flenser.

She’s joined in Lincoln by shoegaze band Ghostlike and Denver ambient project Bell Mine.
